Chief Deputy Troy Morton was appointed Chief Deputy by Sheriff Glenn Ross in 2003. The Chief Deputy is the second in command
of the entire agency and is directly responsible for the oversight of the law enforcement divisions.

Today, in addition to being the Chief
Deputy, Troy Morton is the leader of the Warrant Team. This team is trained to draft and execute search warrants, trained in the collection
of evidence and crime scene processing in those cases involving drugs and/or elevated risk search and arrest warrants.
