Health Insurance: Penobscot County pays for a portion each full-time employee's health insurance through the CIGNA Network plan. Employees may purchase additional health insurance coverage for dependents and/or may elect to enroll in the CIGNA POS plan.

Dental Insurance: An optional dental plan is available to employees and families to provide preventative, basic and major dental services.

Vision Insurance: Penobscot County provides an annual vision examination through the CIGNA Heath Insurance Eye Care.

Time Off Benefits: Penobscot County offers 12 annual paid holidays and vacation and sick leave pay based on length of service. Penobscot County provides Family, Medical and Military leave in compliance with federal requirements.
